Campaign Story

Hi, we are Sara and Whylie Williams. We recently got married in March of 2023. We have a great and somewhat crazy love story!

We met in May of 2021 and hit it off! We fell head over heels for each other and had a wonderful summer full of adventures and getting to know one another. We shared smiles, laughs, and love! All of these came to a crashing halt in September when Whylie was hospitalized and diagnosed with MDS (Myelodysplastic Syndromes) a blood cancer.

We spent months doing chemo treatments, doctor visits, and hospitalizations over these past few months. In April 2022, Whylie was able to get a Stem Cell transplant and spent a month in the hospital this round. It wasn’t all smooth sailing, we had many rough roads to manage all while our relationship was still fresh!

We were able to get through all of these rough and awful roads to get Whylie better and healthy again! He’s finally better and feeling like himself again.

With all of this behind us, we’re looking forward to better and healthy days ahead! And we’re ready to start a family! But with all the hospital bills we still have, funding our IVF journey is tough! We are creating this fundraiser and asking for any help! Any help we can get is appreciated and will help with our IVF journey we’re starting on!! Thank you!
